Step 1: Registration
Thank you for your interest in Affordable HOC (Affordable Home Ownership Corporation).
Please allow us to gather the necessary information to help you qualify for your new home by completing the following registration form.
I authorize the verification of all information provided in this form and recognize that a valid state photo and/or federal identification will be required to confirm my identity, legal age (18 or older) and status in the United States of America. In addition, I agree to participate in an interview with a representative of Affordable HOC followed by an online enrollment with Tenant-Alert (for a onetime fee of less than $50.00) used to conduct a background check. Finally, I agree to participate in the pre-approval process for a Mortgage Loan (FREE) that will complete the registration process.
Additionally, I understand and agree that a club membership (Affordable HOC) is not a sales contract agreement and therefore does not obligate Affordable Home Ownership Corporation or its subsidiaries to provide housing of any type or form now or in the future. Rather, Affordable HOC is a means of qualifying for the purchase of a home while establishing my individual housing needs and buying potential within my county of residence.
Also, the registration process is a vehicle to identify and bring together individuals that share a common interest in qualifying for the purchase of a moderately priced home. When a substantial number of club members in a given county are identified, Affordable Home Ownership Corporation will make every effort to build or negotiate for the construction of multi-family homes that will fit the buying potential of the identified Affordable HOC club member. Affordable HOC defines “Club Membership” as a group of mortgage approved, like-minded purchasers, coming together in advance, for newly built quality housing, seeking, between them, an assortment of one, two, three, and four bedroom homes.
I understand and agree that with final registration, membership will be “at will,” without fixed term or need for additional enrollment or termination procedure. I agree that no promises regarding membership have been made to me and further understand that no such promise or guarantee is binding upon Affordable Home Ownership Corporation unless made in writing by its principals.
All real estate that becomes available is subject to the Federal Fair Housing Act, which makes it illegal to advertise “any preference, limitation, or discrimination because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin, or intention to make any such preference, limitation, or discrimination.” State and local laws may forbid discrimination based on factors in addition to those protected under federal law. All persons are hereby informed that all dwellings that become available or are advertised are available on an equal opportunity basis.
You have completed the first phase of the registration process.
Next, is a review by Tenant Alert that will assist you to qualify for an apartment rental. Tenant Alert will require a small fee (under $49.00) that will be refunded once the bank has pre-approved you for a mortgage.
Select your county of residence and submit to complete your Tenant Alert questionnaire. A copy of your review will be emailed to you and an Affordable HOC representative in approximately 3 days.
